On Tuesday, June 21st, we went to Dutch Wonderland. We had a blast! The lines were not too long and the kids loved the rides. There is so much for families to do together at this place that it’s hard to know where to start. I would recommend going on the roller coaster “Merlin’s Mayhem first because it was our favorite ride of all and then taking a ride on “The Kingdom Coaster” next – this was really fun! After getting your adrenaline pumping you can make your way around the park checking out other rides like the Pipeline Plunge, Space Shuttle or Skyride.
If you’re looking for something more interesting, head over to Exploration Island and walk the Prehistoric Path of 20 lifelike dinosaurs, do a dino dig or take a scenic ride on the Gondola Cruise.

This was the perfect family outing. I loved that my 8-year old son could go on all of the rides, even some roller coasters! The best part for me personally is how much variety there is in attractions; from bumper cars to water slides, kids will never get bored here. We had an absolutely great time and our day at Dutch Wonderland will not be forgotten any time soon
I would like to Thank Dutch Wonderland for hosting us and and allowing us to experience their amazing amusement park.
Dutch Wonderland History
- Dutch Wonderland is a 43-acre family amusement park with over 35 rides, Duke’s Lagoon water play area, Exploration Island, live entertainment, games and food. The Park is home to Princess Brooke, Duke the Dragon, the Knight of Safety (Sir Brandon), Merlin the Magician, and Mayhem, Merlin’s dragon BFF.
- Opened in 1963 by Earl Clark, the park originally offered just four rides on 14 acres. Throughout the years, the Clark family added more rides and attractions. Hershey Entertainment & Resorts, which also owns Hersheypark, purchased the property in 2001. In November 2010, Palace Entertainment, a California based company, purchased Wonderland Amusement Management, which includes Dutch Wonderland, Old Mill Stream Campground and other related properties. Dutch Wonderland continues to enjoy growth and change, while keeping the unique charm and family focus established by the Clarks.
