Couponing is an excellent way to save money, but it doesn’t have to be all work! There are plenty of options for people who don’t want the hassle. Try out these eight simple ways to start couponing and we’ll see if they’re right up your alley.

1. Only cut newspaper coupons for products you will actually use.

Only clip coupons for items that you and your family currently uses. 

If you clip every single coupon, you will not only waste time clipping but also printer ink and paper for a product you may never use.

2. Use an accordion file folder for your coupons.

3. Buy newspapers at Dollar Tree.

You don’t need a Newspaper Subscription to get coupons.

If you want to build a serious stockpile you will need multiple newspapers. Head over to your local Dollar Tree and grab some for only $1..25.

4. Wait to print P&G coupons until the day you’re using them.

P&G has changed the way we can print and use their coupons. You can no longer print a coupon and wait a week or two until the product goes on sale.

You now have to wait until the Tide or Downy Products go on sale and print them out. But, you only have 24hrs to use the coupons. 🙁

5. Use two phone numbers to print mobile coupons.

The best place to get free coupons is at coupons.com. You will create an account using your cell phone number.

Ask your spouse or friend if they can sign-up, so you can print more coupons to start your stock pile.

6. Sign up for store loyalty programs.

You will want to sign up for rewards cards at store you currently shop at. 

You will earn discounts or points that you can spend like cash.

7. Use Ibotta to get cash back.

Ibotta is one of the easiest ways to save money when you shop. 

Download the Ibotta app, then link your store loyalty card to the Ibotta app or check for offers on items you just bought at the store. 

Just snap a pic of your receipt with the app and cash out through PayPal once you’ve earned a minimum of $20.

8. Focus on deals for expensive items.

To start really seeing savings, start by couponing for products like diapers and laundry detergent. When you really see the savings, it will make you more motivated.
