Are you heading to Carowinds this summer? Here are 11 Things you need to know about Carowinds.

1. How much does it cost to get into the Carolina Harbour Water Park?

Carolina Harbor is included with the price of admission to Carowinds. You get two parks for the price of one! Which is a win-win!

2. Does Carowinds provide Lockers?

Lockers are available to rent and vary in size starting at $17. *Please be aware that prices are subject to change.

You can find a locker in these locations:

  • North Gate Entrance
  • South Gate Entrance
  • Carolina Harbor (Waterpark Entrance and Tidal Wave Bay)
  • Thrill Zone next to Fury 325
  • Copperhead Strike Lockers

3. Can I Re-enter the Park if I need to leave?

Guests who leave the park and plan to return the same day must get their hand stamped before they leave the park at the exit gate.

4. My Child is 2yrs old, do they need a ticket for admission?

Children two years old and younger receive free admission to Carowinds.

5. Can I bring in food or beverages into Carowinds?

No outside food or beverage is allowed inside the park. Bags are subject to search before entering.  There are More than 30 restaurants and snack stands provide a broad dining experience within the park.

6. Do you rent Wheelchairs or Strollers?

Strollers and wheelchair rentals are located inside of the South Gate Entrance and next to Guest Services at the North Gate Entrance. Please note, a valid form of identification must be presented to rent a manual or electric wheelchair. Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Driver’s License
• State ID
• Military ID
• Season Pass

Single Stroller 
$16.00 – $10 deposit

Double Stroller 
$20.00 – $10 deposit

Manual Wheelchair
$16.00 – $10 deposit

Electric Wheelchair
$50.00 – $10 deposit
 

*Prices are subject to change without notice. Equipment rented on a first-come, first-rent basis.

7. Can I bring GoPros, Cameras or Cellphones on a ride?

No. Cameras, GoPros, cell phones or other any recording devices (photography or video) are prohibited on all rides to ensure the safety of our guests. Violation of this policy is subject to park dismissal. 

8. What if I can't print my tickets at home?

You can bring your ID and order number on the day of your visit to the Will Call window and a Carowinds associate will reprint your ticket(s) for you. You can also store your Season Pass on the mobile app. 

9. Does Carowinds have a Baby Care Center?

Guests with infants or young children should take advantage of the Baby Care Center in Camp Snoopy. Nursing mothers and fathers will find a comfortable rocking chair, a microwave and a diaper changing station to use at their convenience.

10. Information for Guests with Disabilities

This guide is designed to help those with disabilities make the most of their visit and provide information on ride safety, group and individual discounts and parking options. This information can also be found online on the Guests with Disabilities page.

11. Do they have gluten free food options?

Carowinds is proud to offer a variety of choices for guests who have gluten allergies. View a complete list of locations and menu items.

Exceptions are also made for guests with special dietary needs (including food allergies and baby food/formula). These guests are eligible to bring their own food and beverage.
